What lies Beyond the Veil?

William here. I've taken over Aznana's blog to remind you know that Twisted Hunt Fall for 2021 is underway and that you may find many cubes with men's and unisex gifts.

Persephone

The traditional story is that Hades saw the beautiful maiden, Persephone, playing in a meadow and came roaring out of Hell to carry her away. Her mother, Demeter, mourned her absence and caused everything in the natural world to die. The starving world appealed to Zeus to mediate and they worked out a deal that allowed Persephone to return to the upper world for six months every year. In the fall when Persephone returns to Hades' kingdom Demeter slips into depression and the northern hemisphere enters autumn and winter.

I think Persephone actually looks forward to returning to Hades each fall. Who wouldn't prefer a lover willing to go though hell for you to being treated as a child by an overprotective mother?

Here she is dressed in her best for their reunion - sexy lingerie, flowered mantle, headdress and earrings, lots of jewels and pearls.
