Just in time for those New Year's parties, Aii has added Dreamy Downbrushed  Tintable Lashes for the LeLutka Evolution heads. Made in blended and masked styles for use with either male or female heads, includes a BoM tintable eyeliner  tattoo. 

I'm also wearing Aii & Ego Dark Elf Ears. These bento ears move to fit your mood and come with extensive huds to customize skin, jewelry, and tattoos. 

To help you fight off the memories of 2020, try the new Enchanted Daggers. 

The hand-held dagger has animated movements. The rest form a Halo Aura of blades that gather at your back and float around your body in a random threatening and protective manner. The hud includes silver, black and gold and you can color the gems with the tinting and alpha selection tool.

New from Aii!

The newest releases from Aii are wonderful additions for every wardrobe: 

Ornate Lace Sleeves come in 3 metals with 13 variations in the hud to change the fabric, the lace and the jewel trim. The sleeves can also be opaque or sheer.

The other new item that I'm showing today are the Dreamy Downbrushed Lashes for Genus heads. There are lashes for each of the Genus head styles. I'm wearing the ones for my Strong gift head.  I'm also wearing the Basic Eyeliner tattoo included with the lashes. They're very realistic looking. 

I use the lashes from Aii's Tainted Lady Makeup as my default lashes on all my Catwa heads and it's nice to have some good lashes for my Genus head. Thank you, Aii!

You're enjoying a cup of eyeball brew at the end of a busy day when suddenly you hear giggles outside your front door and the doorbell gongs.

Oh My Goodness! It's Trick or Treaters! They're here and it isn't even midnight yet. Thank goodness I made a stop by Trick or Treat Lane earlier today!

Drow vs Dragon

Items from two very different events combine for a look that's unbelievably powerful

The Aether Suit from Aii & Ego * can be found on the upper level of the Engine Room. It comes with boots, gloves with built-in nails and body armor. 

Wear black or white with gold or silver metalwork and 7 hud-controlled accent colors to change the edging and jewels. BOM body coverings in gold or silver + 5 colors are included but not shown. I'm not wearing the BOM tattoo because I wanted to show off the skin. I added some gold pasties for the pictures. 

Skin and tattoos can literally be found while doing the Twisted Hunt Fall: Drow **  

You can't really call yourself a SL hunter until you've lost your mind doing Twisted! Participating stores show no mercy when it comes to hiding the Twisted cubes, using decoys, lighting and deception (some retexture their stores just for the Hunt) to make it more difficult. When you finally find the cube, it always contains something unexpected like this Cruel Skin from 7 Deadly S[k]ins and the face tats from Kumiho J!nx. Many locations have themed gachas and side hunts to add to the madness.

Attack of the Mossballs: a Cautionary Tale

The day had been long and frustrating for William. A wood elf who had wandered too close to our camp seemed easy prey, but William had lost him in the brightness of midday. 

William's white skin is more sensitive to sunlight than a dark Drow and he had returned to camp physically weakened and in a foul mood.

I had planned to spend the evening cheering him up with a little game of hide and go seek, but instead of looking at me, his crimson eyes were fastened on something just behind me. 

"The moss!"  he whispered hoarsely, "It just moved". 

 

Oblivion Moss steals the memories of intelligent creatures. The seemingly harmless moss balls that had lain dormant at the edge of our camp during the day started multiplying and moving ominously towards us. 

There really is no defense against sentient plant life. William fought valiantly, but in the end, oblivion came over his face and he was helpless as a newborn. Since I already lost my mind hunting for Twisted Cubes, I was safe from the Mossballs! In fact, they ran like little chickens when I turned to face them. I'll be reeducating William. This might actually be a good thing!

 

The lesson here is: Don't assume it's harmless just because it's cute.

• I'm prepared for a night of play or or for battle in an outfit from Wicca Originals

• Background is Drow on the Prowl * from PoseAble with added Dark Willow * from Love Everlasting. The landscape is composed of the ground, several trees, the small hill and waterfall and includes the tent, fire, poses and props in the top picture.
• The animated Mossballs* are from Pixelancer. They pop up to walk on stilty legs before popping down to appear harmless. They don't multiply by themselves, but once I started playing with them, they were so cute I just couldn't stop adding more and they inspired the rest of the story!
