I'm taking one last look @ Twisted Krissmuss before it ends. I always feel a void following the rush of shopping and events around the 25th. It's time for laid-back shopping just for yourself. The Faerie of the Crystal Cave

A solitary frost faerie dwelt in a cold and silent crystal cave. Like her ancestors she was quiet, independent and a bit brittle. Unlike her ancestors, she was not completely happy existing alone. Depression almost got the best of her, especially in the midst of winter when the shorter days made her feel particularly blue. 

One day she was surprised by skaters passing through her cave in celebration of their winter holiday. They greeted her cheerfully and, instead of avoiding them as she normally would have done, she hesitantly returned their greetings. 

She felt a bit of warmth begin to flow through her body. She enjoyed the feeling even though it frightened her a little. The next time skaters appeared she quietly welcomed them. It was hard work, but as time passed she began to feel almost comfortable saying "hello" to the folks who shared her world. She found that even though she would always be a solitary frost faerie, occasionally it felt good to let her heart feel the warmth of others.

• Frost and crystal Scadi Jumpsuit for female mesh bodies is from Faunus *. I'm a very private frost faerie so I added a white pastie on the right side, which has just the crystals, but bolder ladies will enjoy flaunting the crystals. You'll find more frosty costuming ideas from Faunus including unisex sets that look great on male and female bodies @ Winter's Hollow.

• Wings from Aii & Ego. I use these Fairy Wings a lot because they're beautifully textured and nicely animated. They come in Bento and Animesh. In the top picture I'm showing the XL wings with one of the textures available in the Moon Ripple hud [20 colors] sold separately. In the lower picture I used the pearl texture from the original hud [37 colors]. Check out the huge variety of wing styles at the Aii MAIN Store.

The Annual Holiday Letter

It's time for the annual Holiday Letter. I'm thinking I may be the last person on earth that does one of these things (I started doing SL Holiday Letters in 2019), but it's tradition, so here goes...

Aznana and I are in yet another home. Linden Lab closed down our old region, so we moved. What else could we do when the whole place disappeared? They warned us in advance, and we found a nice place, but it doesn't feel like home yet.  Somehow the old furniture never fits in the new house. I think it's all a devious plot between LL and the furniture makers to get us to buy more, but Azzie says that makes me sound like my father, so forget that! Home is where the computer is.  

Azzie blogs about 4x a week and is always running off to attend event openings and music events. She still hosts for worthy causes such as Fantasy Faire for the American Cancer Society, but doesn't work in clubs any longer.

I chill at home, work on the computer and occasionally join her for blog shoots. We have no prim kids and the dogs got lost in an upgrade, so we have no parental responsibilities except for providing moral support to a few friends who are stuck being perpetual teenagers.  Our favorite activities are still cuddling and listening to music. I'll have my 15th rezday on Dec 21. That officially makes me a senior citizen.

We were glad to see that Twisted is back on track after being on hiatus for way too long. Hope you're enjoying the Twisted Krissmus sale and the Silver & Gold Hunt. The Christmas Cuddle Bench and Christmas Candle Lanterns from United Inshcon* are available @ the Sale and the PJs from Secrets of Gaia* can be found in the Hunt.

BTW if you never received an annual holiday letter in RL, consider yourself lucky! Every one of them is a list of accomplishments that make the writer's family sound like they live the adventures of Indiana Jones. All their children are geniuses and Olympic champions. And every single holiday letter I ever received was heavily punctuated with smiley face emojis😊 at the end of every line.

It's beginning to look like Twisted Krissmuss

The folks who bring you the Twisted Hunts, the grid's most difficult hunts, are making it easy to find some nice transferable gifts with a Twisted sensibility.  

Twisted Krissmuss is a holiday shopping event. Our merchants each have provided at least 1 item that is NEW, TRANSFERABLE, and priced at EXACTLY L$100! These items will be marked by a red bow with gold trim with a special Twisted Krissmuss cube at its center.  Many of the merchants also have other new items or special sales at their booths. Some may provide gifts at the giving tree!

And because we're compulsive hunters, we also offer the Silver & Gold Hunt. The Silver & Gold Hunt is a revival of the hunts organized by Rox Arten, Twisted Organizer before Twisted got to her. Because this time of year is stressful enough, this is going to be the most untwisted Twisted hunt ever!   It's a simple classic Secondlife Gridwide hunt. Hints HERE.
