The Tale of a Tail

Many of you have been waiting for the new release from EgosumAii
Your wait is over, the Daemonium Tail is available @ Panic of Pumpkin in Okinawa
I should actually say tails because the tail comes in 5 sizes from S-XL (shown here in L and S). It is animesh with random animations and comes with a BOM version as well as an Omega one so that you can match your favorite skins. The tail armor and rings are hud controlled with 5 metals and 9 gemstone colors. You can also add 10 tattoos which glow in the dark. Try the demos at the landing point of the Main Store or at the event.

In case you've wondered what the difference is between "materials enabled" advanced lighting and regular lighting, above and below are a couple of with and without pictures.
Sometimes advanced lighting doesn't really make much difference. Other times, it can totally change what you see.
In both examples the only thing I changed was to toggle on the Advanced lighting in my preferences.

I ALWAYS have advanced lighting enabled in my pictures for Aii and for most of my other pictures as well. If an item you've purchased looks rather dull and featureless, try turning on the advanced lighting in your preferences and see if it makes the patterns or colors more obvious.

Conversely, if you are seeing colors that look like a swirling oil slick and that isn't what you wanted, try turning off advanced lighting. It does tend to make mesh hair and skin look like plastic.
Nobody else can see the effects you see with materials enabled; it only shows on your screen, but some designers put in a lot of extra work to add it and it's been a feature in all of Aii's creations for the last couple of years.
