There are EXCLUSIVE items from clothing to home furnishings from many of your favorite fantasy and magical creators, a L$5 hunt and lovely places to take your holiday pictures.

I'm wearing an EXCLUSIVE Merrie Holiday gown from Sn@tch. It includes huds for 3 skirt designs and 20 colors for the Sequin Bustier. I finished the look with a Cosmopolitan necklace and earrings, also from Sn@tch, which comes with a hud for 5 metals and 20 jewel colors  and with Winter's Hollow nails from DP Koffin Nails.  

Hunt Hint: You will be hunting for snowflakes like the one I'm holding below right. Hunt snowflakes can be anywhere in the event area. Each costs L$5 and has a wonderful prize inside.

Ever since +Aii released the bento fox tails, we've been looking forward to magical multi-tails. The Nogitsune set has 9 animated bento tails in regular and high poly, animated fox ears as well as tail fires and earrings. Available beginning December 1 @ Kurenai

I'm frolicking in the snow wearing the basic white with black tipped tails and ears, which gives me that snow fox look.

The hud allows you to color the individual tails as you wish... I did my tail in rainbow!
You can toggle tails on and off to have between 1-9 and even add your own textures. The ears have seven tattoo designs to further express your individuality.

Thrifty Witch

If you're looking for seasonal items to decorate your Second Life without spending a lot of L$, try visiting events and doing hunts (See the destination guide for suggestions).

In some cases, you will have to hunt for something like a pumpkin or skull, and you may need to pay a few Lindens at others, but frequently the items are just sitting there with a sign that reads "FREE GIFT". Be aware that many activities end with the month, so don't delay!

I decorated my little pumpkin house (and myself! ) with freebees and hunt items available now.

If you like challenging hunts and wonderful prizes, I recommend doing the Fallen Gods Hunt. There are amazing gifts from many of your favorite fantasy creators for those who find all the hourglasses in this grid-wide hunt.

A good group for thrifty purchases is 1L1H. Participating merchants make their regular items available for L$1. The challenging part is that you have only one hour after the notice goes out to get to the special vendor.
The family portraits in this picture are two of a set of six that I got @ Simply Shelby on 1L1H.

The Wash is also celebrating its10th anniversary.  Offering everything from clothing to makeup to decorations, most items are L$10 with a few L$50 items and some gachas. There are lots of free gifts as well.

Autumn Leaves @ Trick or Treat Lane

Rich colors of red, amber and rust remind us that the year is drawing to a close. As the weather cools and the leaves fall, many of us feel more in tune with nature and closer to the earth than at any other time.

Visit Trick or Treat Lane for the finest in witchy attire. You didn't really think we ran around in long Victorian dresses and high button shoes all the time, did you?

There are lots of cute shorty dresses, tees, leggings and accessories for the modern witch.
I'm wearing the tee and leggings from Jackalope. The top has a hud with seasonal sayings and the bats on the leggings are animated. It's quite mesmerizing to watch my pants move all by themselves.
