Home Twisted Home

In a Twisted Hunt you can expect unexpected twists to extend to the prizes as well as to the Hunt itself. Sharing some of my favorite twists.

Dragon Magic Wares Void Hall ~ I used 6 lights in the interior and several more for the exterior photos. It's a lovely place with excellent textures and makes the most of the Into the Void black on black theme. Be sure you bring a candle!

Back Into the Void

"Void" has different connotations to different people. Some think of it as a negative term indicating a complete absence of substance or meaning or as a nothingness, others might think of it as a vast cauldron of potential. The creators for the Twisted Hunt do not fear the Void. They relish the opportunity to fill that space with wonders.

Twisted invites you to hunt for Twisted Cubes in black on black, often in dark regions. Finding the cubes is difficult to say the least and the liberal use of decoys at some locations makes using cheat tools more frustrating than helpful. Dedication, patience and a good graphics card are the tools that make it possible to survive a Twisted Hunt. (Copious amounts of caffeine and an emotional support moth-kitteh help, too!) You have till the end of September to finish, but don't leave it to the last few days or you might not have time to do the End Game, which is always super challenging.

As you travel from store to store, be sure to look for the Twisted easels that announce side hunts, sale items, gachas and other Twisted-related info. You can do the side hunts as you go along or finish the main hunt and go back to do the side hunts while you wait for End Game to open.

Wearing the Hallow & Void Woman's Coat from Psyche's Pstyles. It comes with 6 colors in the hud. [LaraX / Legacy / Maitreya 5.3 / Reborn]

I often take a pet along with me when I'm hunting. They tend to keep me focused. The Mothcats from Aii are very good as emotional support animals. They're well-animated to act like cuddly cats.
The MothCat comes as both a wearable avatar that lets you be this other-worldly creature and as an animesh pet that can be worn on the arm, shoulder, head or as a follower.
The color hud applies textures to both the avatar and the pets [40 fur colors, 5 metals, 13 gem colors, 105 eye styles]

The Twisted Hunt ~ Into the Void

Are you ready for Twisted?

Twisted is notorious for being the Hardest Hunt on the grid. If your "hunt" experience has been limited to walking through an event and tripping over prizes you have to pay for, it's time to join the world of REAL SL hunting!

Twisted cubes are frequently in plain sight, but they may be fiendishly hidden by the background and might be accompanied by baby cubes and dozens of decoy cubes as well. They could mock you, attack you or call you names, but they have unique goodies inside and the prizes are FREE for successful Hunters. This round's cubes are black on black, so good luck finding them! [Note: buy aspirin! These will give you a headache!]

Your journey begins HERE. Make your way between the displays of pictures, awards and memorabilia from former Twisted Hunts @ Hunt Headquarters.
Touch the twisting cube above the altar for your official start packet. You can't miss it though you may have to jump over or fight off cubes from former hunts to get to it. Don't expect it to be this easy to find any of the other cubes on this hunt.

Forgotten Forest August 21 - September 4

The Wheel of the Year turns and we find ourselves taking refuge from the heat in the Forgotten Forest. This spot is not on any map and is hidden from those who lack a sense of magick.

Dark Passions brings you the Forgotten Forest event August 21- September 4.

Your favorite fantasy, witchy, esoteric and mystical creators have gathered to share their visions and to make their newest and most unique goods available in one beautifully landscaped location.

Themes:

• Enchanted Forest • Dark Fantasy • Fairy Tales • Woodland Magic

• Mystical Creatures • Witches • Gothic Elegance • Forgotten Ruins

As you journey through the Forest, watch for Potion Bottles like the one I'm holding. Find a bottle, pay the L$25 finder's fee and add the wonders inside to your inventory. Hunt items often compliment or complete the items for sale in the booths. Bottles may be hidden or in plain sight anywhere in the event region. There are no hints, it just takes a keen eye to find them.

Lady in Red

My look today features the lovely Sugar Petal Gown Set from Aii. I wanted a strong presence and the red textures in the hud worked perfectly to express my idea.

The color red carries several universal symbols and themes that transcend cultural boundaries: Passion: Red is often linked to intense emotions like love, desire, and courage. A lady dressed in red may convey passion or strong feelings.

Energy: Red is a dynamic color representing vitality, action, and determination. It can symbolize life force energy or inner strength.
Courage: Wearing red can signify bravery, assertiveness, and confidence. The lady in red may exude a sense of fearlessness or boldness.*

In spirituality, the color red holds significant meaning across different cultures. It symbolizes vitality, strength, and life force energy. When incorporated into spiritual practices or rituals, red is believed to awaken inner power and courage. It can be used to channel passion towards spiritual growth or transformation.*
