Musings on Magic ~ The Tale of a Tail

I blogged Aii's Devoura Tail on my last post [HERE], but apparently because of the similar gold colors of my skin and dress or the number of flying hands in the original pictures, the tail wasn't easy to see, so here it is again, sans skeletal hands and with a strong contrasting skin color. Sorry about that!

Devoura Tail comes with a hud full of tattoos, leather textures, metal and jewel accents and 4 positions to fit a variety of mesh bodies.
The tail picks up your BOM skin tone to create a perfect match to your body.
Includes an optional cross charm which swings realistically as the tail moves.
Read the descriptions and try the DEMOs at the Aii Main Store for your best look.
Aii products feature PBR textures and require recent computer updates supporting PBR.

Musings on Magic

Magic is unpredictable. Sometimes you feel as though you control it; other times you feel as though it is pushing you to do things that are totally beyond your control. Whether it pushes you ahead or holds you back, be aware of your own intentions and hold fast to your truths.

Creating the magical aura I crave are new releases from Aii: NightEmber Horns * and Devoura Tail * worn with the BlackMage Layered Outfit *.
GhostMage Hands * are giving me the push I need to proceed but are also trying to hold me back from utter ruin. Every bone is visible in the floating Animesh Hands. The hud holds 25 Skin colors including spots and stripes and 25 Bone colors. The floating hands come in S and L, with or without eyes in the palm. Unrigged Body Hands can be resized.
NightEmber Horns include a hud of 50 horn textures with 30 tattoos, 4 metals and 15 ribbon colors.

Devoura Tail is currently available @ the Warehouse Sale Event. It comes with a hud full of tattoos, leather textures, metal and jewel accents and 4 orientations to fit a variety of mesh bodies.

I'm wearing my tail on the outside of my skirt where the metal sheath lines up perfectly with the belts, but of course it looks great au natural as well.

Moonfall Werewolf from Aii

The werewolf first appeared in ancient Greece, in the myth of King Lycaon of Acardia, who was turned into a wolf by the great god Zeus for despicable behavior.
Werewolves have been part of human myth and legend for centuries in every part of the world. At certain times in history, there have been major panics involving werewolf attacks. In recent years the werewolf has become a sympathetic character, often doomed to a life of sorrow and self-loathing through no fault of their own.
Their strong visual appeal and the challenge of transforming a human actor to wolf form has made them a popular film subject.

Aii has created the ultimate Werewolf avatar in their new release, Moonfall Werewolf, currently available at the Midnight Order.
This avatar has 60 preset PBR fur textures, additional tattoos, optional hair braids, 8 mouth and 8 nail colors. Two body shapes are included. An internal AO controls the snarls and menacing gait.
Straps, jewelry and a loin cloth are included so you really don't need to look farther to create a complete look.

A Midsummer Marriage

It would hardly be Midsummer without a marriage or two. Here we find our sweethearts dressed in Gothic splendor at their new home.
There are homes to purchase and several different styles of furniture to be had @ Midsummer Enchantment.

I opted for the Summerwind Cottage LI48 from Lore with furnishings from Blue Blood and [QE] Home.
The Summerwind has 2 main rooms and a loft. Stained glass windows and ceramic tiles on the floor give it a lovely old world feeling. The walls have a cream interior and gray exterior.

Anput, Anubis' Companion

Anubis is one of the most recognizable of the Ancient Egyptian gods. He is depicted as a jackal-headed male associated with death, embalming, and the afterlife. However, many may not be aware that Anubis also has a female counterpart, his wife, Anput.
As the wife of Anubis, Anput shares responsibility as a guardian of the departed, guiding souls on their transcendent journey to the afterlife
. She is the goddess of mourning and bears the responsibility of protecting the physical remains in the course of transition.
- She is depicted as a jackal-headed woman, often in a flowing gown.
