Home Sweet Ostara Home

Not only can you find a new house and landscaping @ Ostara's Altar, you can also find the furnishings to decorate your new home. Several of the shops have houses and furniture available. When you purchase items from a themed event, you're already halfway to having a coordinated look without the frustration of jumping around the grid or doomscrolling in MP.

Take the teleporter to the Rez area to get up close and personal with some of the housing and landscaping options. I'm showing the exterior and the rear interior room from Dragon Magic Wares EXCLUSIVE Oakheart Cottage * furnished with items from [QE Home]

The decor will require a little traveling but, never fear, I've made it easy for you. Items to the right in the picture of the interior are from QE Home's EXCLUSIVE Vernal Moon * collection available @ Ostara's Altar. Outside the door to the Cottage you can see the EXCLUSIVE Ostara's Blessing Rune Reader * from Goddess Creations. It's golden, it's glowy, it has internal fires and comes nestled in field grasses and flowers! Touch it and it will give you a reading for the rune displayed.

When Darkness Falls

Though Ostara's Altar focuses more on light colors and brightness than the other Dark Passions events, there are plenty of items for those who only wear black because nothing darker has been created.

Earth Elementals

Though it wasn't always the case, most people from the 19th century on have thought of fairies as minuscule beings with butterfly wings.
There are hundreds of varieties of fae folk of all sizes with and without wings. Sprites, Brownies, Dryads, Nymphs, Elves and Elementals are just a few of the categories in the English-speaking countries. Fae folk tend to materialize out of nowhere and appear with slightly skewed human or animal features which are either uncomfortably ugly or unbelievably beautiful.

Your imagination is the only limit to becoming a fae creature in Second Life. Whether you prefer gossamer and sparkles or leaves and mud, you can put together a fairy persona to suit your tastes.

Today's looks lean towards the Earth Elementals, who protect wild nature and are often hard to distinguish from the plants and animals they defend.
The natural components are from the EXCLUSIVE Avery sets by Faunus. Each set includes the Crown, Bracelets, Necklace, Skirt, Top (female only) and Wreath. [Flowers are available in 6 colors with the addition of brown and green for the female top] Pieces sold separately or all together in Fatpacks.

Aii Creates a Faery Tale for Spring

New from Aii ~ Galewing Harpy

Originally, Harpies were creatures with bird bodies and the faces of beautiful women. The Harpies were the Greek goddesses of storm winds or whirlwinds and were often perceived to be the personification of sudden and violent gusts of wind.

When people disappeared mysteriously, the Harpies would be blamed, with people often believing that the disappeared had been snatched away by the winds. As different cultures envisioned them, their appearance changed till in most stories they were depicted as horrible, almost demonic, creatures that administered Zeus' punishments.

Galewing Harpy, the newest release from Aii, restores the Harpy's beauty.
It includes Feathers, Claws, attachments, gorgeous Arm Wings and Jewelry with two huge huds of textures and colors for feathers, scales and jewelry.
Fitted for both female and male mesh avatar bodies.
Optional Animesh set of Wings for the Head (not shown).
Tail and Horns/Head Feathers are optional.

Animated Wings (sold separately) in 3 sizes attach to the shoulders. Medium shown on the white harpy / Large shown on the colored Harpy. Wear the Harpy Wings separately or together with the Harpy arm feathers and wings.

Winter Ritual @ Winter's Hollow

Joplino Winter Ritual * is just the backdrop you need for a seasonal photo shoot. It includes all the props shown. The perspective on the background itself is perfect. Top picture shows the backdrop with all the props. For the bottom picture I edited it to make the podium and book transparent so you could see the gown I'm wearing.

Dark intentions Christmas Gown * was originally released in 2022. I was really happy to see it @ Winter's Hollow since I had wanted to get it and had missed my chance. It's in the DI booth at a discount and is just as lovely as I remembered!
