A Hymn for Nyx

In Greek mythology Nyx stands as the embodiment of night. Born of Chaos, she was one of the first deities to shape the universe. Nyx cloaks the world in darkness.

Mother to Sleep and Death, Nyx weaves through the myths as a figure of immense mystery and power. Her presence is felt when the skies darken and whispers of the unknown start to fill the air.

I combined items from two of my sponsors to create an evocative atmosphere for my Nyx rite.

The outfit is the lovely Danse Diabolique Gown and Cape from Aii. It comes rigged for Reborn, Waifu, V-tech, Legacy F, Perky, Petite, and includes a huge hud of textures. Pieces can be worn separately to expand the versatility of the outfit.

The setting is from [QE Home] ~ Velara Wedding Arch, Velara Crystal Clusters, Velara Candles, Velara Moonstone Path and Velara Altar Stones. Each piece has multiple color choices. There are a dozen stone textures for the Altar and Path. Pieces sold separately in dark or light or all together in a Fatpack.

Wild Roots Groupings come in multiple configurations and 6 textures.

Home Sweet Ostara Home

Not only can you find a new house and landscaping @ Ostara's Altar, you can also find the furnishings to decorate your new home. Several of the shops have houses and furniture available. When you purchase items from a themed event, you're already halfway to having a coordinated look without the frustration of jumping around the grid or doomscrolling in MP.

Take the teleporter to the Rez area to get up close and personal with some of the housing and landscaping options. I'm showing the exterior and the rear interior room from Dragon Magic Wares EXCLUSIVE Oakheart Cottage * furnished with items from [QE Home]

The decor will require a little traveling but, never fear, I've made it easy for you. Items to the right in the picture of the interior are from QE Home's EXCLUSIVE Vernal Moon * collection available @ Ostara's Altar. The rest of the furnishings and plants are available @ the [QE] Main Stores [1][2]

Outside the door to the Cottage you can see the EXCLUSIVE Ostara's Blessing Rune Reader * from Goddess Creations. It's golden, it's glowy, it has internal fires and comes nestled in field grasses and flowers! Touch it and it will give you a reading for the rune displayed.

Mystic Workings

Whether you do your mystical workings hidden away in a garret or spread across the galaxy, the look supports the magic.
Finding celestial decor is as easy as finding the right items from [QE].
Of course, the most evocative costuming ideas are from +Aii+ .
Combining the two makes you a mystical force to be reconned with.

Today's pictures combine items from [QE Home] gachas @ Mad Pea's Gacha Arcana with a magical outfit available in the +Aii+ MAIN STORE.

New and EXCLUSIVE Aruna decor is a cooperative effort between Aine original mesh and textures from [QE]. Orbs [3 sizes and colors], Candles, and a holdable Moon are possible gacha prizes. Moon Lounger is the Vault Item [5 couple/6 male/7 female poses].
Mystic gacha features New and EXCLUSIVE items including Wall Lights, Table Lamps, Books and Plants all with celestial sparkles and glow. The Mystic Moon Cabinet is the Vault Item in this set.
All items coordinate with other [QE Home] celestial sets and decor that you'll find in the Main Stores [1] [2].

The lovely Sunveil Monarch Outfit from Aii features a Coat, Shawl, Bra, Panties, Skirt, Sleeves, Stockings and Heels accented with brilliant Suns and lacy Monarch Butterflies. Parts can be worn separately. [Legacy F (Petite) (perky) / Reborn (Vtech) (Waiful)]
Richly colored PBR mix and match texture huds change the fabric, lace, leather, metals and gems in the built-in Jewelry pieces.

Dreams & Nightmares @ Trick or Treat Lane

The days grow shorter, the wind sends the fallen leaves flying and our favorite holiday will soon be a memory. Visit Trick or Treat Lane before October 31 or you will miss the chance to collect unique items for your home, outstanding clothing, skins, makeup and body adornments and EXCLUSIVE items of all sorts.

Today I'm showing some items that can be used throughout the Autumn season and even year-round if your preference is for the darker side of life.
Top picture is taken in the skybox version of the HexLoft A-frame by Raindale. There is also a background version that has one open wall. The Hexloft features dark wood walls and floor, a cozy stone fireplace and a round window that might remind you of a certain morose character's dorm room. The Magic Cauldron in the second picture is the Raindale Hunt Treat.*
Furnishings are the Archer Livingroom set from [QE Home] * The set includes Sofa, Tasseled Rug, Coffee Table [not shown] Console Table, End Table, Table Lamp, Cascading Candles, Wall Art and 3 potted Plants. The accessories shown are also from [QE] and can be found in the Main Store or at Events. Check the posters in the [QE] store to see where special items can be found.
Haunted Candles from Candle & Cauldron [6 cluster variants / 10 colors] *

Wearing the Nightmare Outfit from Zoom.* It includes the striped Sweater, Casual Pants and Sneakers. The sweater hud holds 6 colors so you can wear the outfit without your knife fingernails and fire-scarred skin the rest of the year.

Bottom picture shows the sweater in gray, with Hammered Metal Nails from Eventyra* and Sickly makeup from Faeble.* I'm still scary, but not likely to claw my way into anybody's nightmares. Sometimes nice nails make all the difference!

A Midsummer Marriage

It would hardly be Midsummer without a marriage or two. Here we find our sweethearts dressed in Gothic splendor at their new home.
There are homes to purchase and several different styles of furniture to be had @ Midsummer Enchantment.

I opted for the Summerwind Cottage LI48 from Lore with furnishings from Blue Blood and [QE] Home.
The Summerwind has 2 main rooms and a loft. Stained glass windows and ceramic tiles on the floor give it a lovely old world feeling. The walls have a cream interior and gray exterior.

Aborea Relax cluttered shelves from Blue Blood * in 4 color combinations includes 4 poses and also comes in a bare shelves version to hold your own clutter.

[QE] Home brings Aradia Wall Art and Pictures, the EXCLUSIVE to be found @ Midsummer Enchantment *. I combined it with the Repurposed Creeper Table and Pully Light which is part of their gift at SLB22.
Aine Ren Branch is a Hunt item * @ Midsummer Enchantment.
