Water Witch

Who says "witches can't cross water"? Maybe Elphaba was allergic, but that doesn't apply to all of us! In fact, I live on a houseboat and travel from town to town working the odd cure and dispensing wisdom anywhere the waters wander. 

And that thing about witches being old and ugly? Well...!

Midsummer Magic

Midsummer and Magic are synonymous. At Midsummer the days which have been growing longer since Eqinox tip back the other direction. You won't notice it at first, but gradually, the days will shorten, the heat will dissipate and we can all prepare for autumn. 
The doors to Faeryland open on Midsummer's Eve and the fae will enter the human realm, so tuck a bit of rue in your pocket and be careful what you say!

I'm sitting in Lore's SL version of a carved Sun Stone. Also called a holey stone or hag stone, there is an ancient non-tech cousin to this one in Cornwall. Though not quite this big, the real one is large enough for an adult to pass through. The Lore Sunstone comes as either a decorative object or with PG animations for singles or couples.

I'm wearing skin from Lumae, a lovely dress from Oubliette, eyes from Songbird, DP Koffin Nails and holding the animated lyre from Deadly Nightshade. The tattoo and dermal piercing are some of my favorites from The Little Bat. This look and the Sun Stone are available till June 30 @ Midsummer's Enchantment.

Summer is here and Magick is afoot! 

Midsummer Enchantment offers a special collection from some your favorite fantasy designers. The challenge: be magical, be unsettling, but do it with elegance and prettiness.  

Goths, Victorians, Pastel Goths, whimsical Witches, Faerie fashionistas, daring Demons and anyone else who seeks amazing looks, this is the event for you!  Clothing, jewelry, makeup, home décor and sim accessories will be here for two weeks and then disappear like magic, so don't delay!

Besides wonderful new items, discounts and EXCLUSIVES, there is a L$5 hunt. You're looking for hidden masks like the one here. They will be hidden anywhere in the event area.

From the Catacombs

Where is Death? Eternal in future or past. As soon as she appears, she’s already gone. Catacombs full of bones. Tombs of the dead. The homes of specters... these things spring to mind when you see the gacha items from Egosumaii @ this month's Arcade.

If you love dark and disturbing, or just have a flare for the dramatic, be sure to visit the Arcade to find these outfits. The gacha vendor is in the back of the building. The Princess's gown is bone white with lace and bone accents and fits most mesh bodies.  The Prince's suit combines leather and brocade and fits Slink or similarly sized bodies. 

As with all gacha items, the chance of getting a particular piece is totally random.

Getting a hand from Aii

I have been invited to a dark dance this weekend. I wanted something different from the usual demons and vampires who occupy these realms, so I went over to the +Aii Mainstore seeking inspiration. I found inspiration not only for this dance, but for the next six or seven as well...

The interesting parts of this look all come from +Aii. A big thanks to Princess Aii who must also have multiple hands in order to make such a variety of amazing things. If you haven't been to the store lately, it's time for a visit. 

I'm using the Aii Kali mesh arms, which aren't on an AO, but which move because they're rigged to interact with your regular arms. These can be colored to match your skin using the regular edit functions. The Ammy hair, which fits nicely around forehead horns such as the Kintsukuroi Horns, and Midori's Stone implant come in a variety of color choices.

A little bit naughty and very nice

Suicide DollZ ~ May 20-June 1

Today's adventures star a bodysuit and leg warmers from [QE] Designs. If you're into fitness, have the desire to be a ballerina, are feeling a bit demonish, or just like the look, head over the Suicide Dollz event and pick up this set.

The event is subtitled "the darker side of your SL" and features some very nice dark looks. There are lots of tattoos and esoteric makeup and clothing, as we've come to expect from Suicide DollZ. The event runs till June 1.

Criss is a nice knit bodysuit with a hud for 6 colors and 2 metals. She is matched with basic black leg warmers. As with all of the [QE] fatpacks, the colors coordinate to mix and match with other items from the collection. It can be dressed up or down and has great textures!
