• It's time for Ostara's Altar, a seasonal event featuring items from Second Life's favorite Gothic, Fantasy and Alternative creators, who gather to bring a touch of spring color and lightness to our mystical world. 
• Ostara's Altar celebrates the Spring Equinox and the bursting creativity that is nature's response to the change of seasons.

• Whether your magic is dark and mysterious, light and ethereal, or you just enjoy wandering through the beauty of spring flowers while shopping, you'll find clothing, body mods, home furnishings and accessories to fit your needs, all in a beautifully landscaped region. 

• Join the Hunt for mystic eggs like the one I'm holding in the third picture. No hud or hints necessary. Hunt Eggs may be hidden anywhere in the event area. The Hare has been hopping everywhere and most of the eggs are in plain sight. Pay the L$25 finder's fee to add the contents to your collection.

Ostara's Altar April 15 - 30

Join us for Ostara's Altar, a seasonal event featuring your favorite Gothic, Fantasy and Alternative creators, who have been working hard to bring a touch of lightness to our magical world. (Black with pink is light, right?)

Besides offering unusual and EXCLUSIVE merchandise at wonderful prices, there is an Egg Hunt and the sim is absolutely gorgeous! Come spend a day wandering through the market and discover all the hidden photo spots.

Watch for eggs like the one I'm holding. Each merchant has put out at least one egg, which could be hiding anywhere in the event. Eggs might be any size and are usually fairly close to the merchant's booth. Pay a L$10 finder's fee to take the egg and get some wonderful extra goodies!

Ostara Rising

She comes like a breath of fresh air

She comes like the shoot rising upward
And you cannot help but lift your eyes to the sky.
She comes like the flower bursting forth
And you cannot help but laugh in delight.

And you cannot help but open your heart.

I took pictures in the lovely Ostara's Altar * location on Ostara eve while modeling some of the items you can find there. It's a wonderful place to take pictures as well as to find bargains!  The beautiful setting will make you feel like Spring has arrived even if it's still frigid in your RL location.

I found this little niche between two of the shops and placed my copy of the Spring Altar *  from Roawenwood  there so that I could kneel and celebrate the arrival of Spring. You can set up your altar quickly and easily on your own land.
